The Gran Juvé & Camps is a great reserve cava brut made with a blend of xarel·lo and chardonnay from Can Rius in Espiells, Macabeo from the La Cuscona estate and parellada from Can Massana, in Mediona.
With 42 months of aging on its lees, it is made only in exceptional vintages and, since its first vintage in 1972, it has been considered an emblematic cava, among other factors because it is made from grapes selected from the best vineyards that the firm owns in the upper Penedès, soils with unique soil characteristics, which give it a unique character.
Of a golden color with nuances of new gold, in its aromatic expression the aromatic freshness stands out, with notes of white flowers and stone fruits, which coexist with complex nuances typical of a long-aging cava: toasted bread, spices, honey, fruits dry and smoke. The passage through the mouth is intense, quite dry, seductive and friendly, with creamy sensations and long persistence of fruit memories.
A perfect balance in the maturation of the grape in terms of complexity, structure and freshness and its aging of 42 months in rhyme, make it a sparkling wine that overflows with freshness, complexity and elegance, hallmarks of Juvé & Camps. Being a very unique product, it is capable of enhancing the flavors of countless dishes; its lactic notes and, above all, memories of dried fruits such as almonds and walnuts allow it to harmonize perfectly with meat, fish and even pastry.
