5J is born from the genetic selection and reproduction of the best specimens of pure Iberian pig. Of the annual Iberian pig hut in Spain, only a small part meets the requirements to become a 5J. The raising in freedom and the feeding with acorns provides the unmistakable flavor of the ham 5J. Sánchez Romero Carvajal thus guarantees the extraordinary characteristics of its unique product. The orography and climatic conditions make the process of artisanal elaboration and natural healing - between 2 and 3 years - unique. Tradition is preserved to ensure the unmatched quality of 5J.

Acorn-fed 50% / 75% Iberian Ham with Guijuelo origin, is a product made with the hind limb of the pig, subjected to the corresponding salting and curing-maturing process. They are meticulously selected pieces from animals raised in the wild in pastures and fed by acorn and rich herbs that will mark the final characteristics of the product.
