This nougat is inspired by the original recipe of the Prats-Fatjó pastry shop in Barcelona, where the master nougat maker, Àngel Velasco, came to work at the age of 14 and, following the advice of his teacher, they made creamy almond nougat. Today, 55 years later, as the owner of Torrons Vicens, he has once again elaborated this magnificent nougat in gratitude to all those people who have taught him this wonderful trade.
