The Marqués de Riscal Reserves are basically made from grapes from Tempranillo variety vines planted before the 1970s, located in the best calcareous clay soils of the Rioja Alavesa.

Selection 2014 is a wine of great intensity of color, an intense garnet. On the nose it can remind us of aromas of ripe black fruits, liquorice, a very subtle, elegant toast with a long journey. In the mouth, it offers a great structure, good tannic presence, full-bodied, powerful and persistent. Memories of the retronasal olfactory phase.

Intense garnet red color. It presents a powerful and elegant nose, highlighting in a first impact the harmony of black and dried fruits with the notes of liquorice, toasts and spices typical of aging in barrels.
