El Perro Verde is a white wine with DO Rueda produced by Ángel Lorenzo Cachazo and his son Javier in collaboration with Vila Viniteca. This is one of the Uvas Felices projects. This wine is a single varietal from Verdejo.
This wine is made from grapes from Rodillana, Bobadilla del Campo and "El Sotillo", located in the province of Valladolid. A quarter of the bunches come from each of the first two fields and the remaining half from the last.
The harvest takes place in September. Once in the winery, the grapes are destemmed and crushed.
Subsequently, the maceration is carried out for twelve hours, at a controlled temperature of 10º. Finally, the must ferments at 18ºC in stainless steel tanks.

El Perro Verde is an aromatic white wine. In this excellent vintage, he has brought out all the aromatic potential of the Verdejo variety. A wine with a good refreshing acidity that combines perfectly with the explosion of aromas.
