Nordés Gin is a gin made in Galicia that is distilled from Albariño wine and Galician herbs such as juniper and caralleira grass. Other elements added during its preparation are salicornia (a marine plant), lemon peel, juniper, cardamom, quinine, ginger, hibiscus, liquorice and tea. The story of the Galician gin Nordés began with a gathering of friends over a plate of octopus. A renowned sommelier, winner of the Golden Nose award in 2004, a Galician wine entrepreneur and a master distiller began to dream of making a Galician gin, with ingredients from their land, that would be different from other gins. And so, after many tests, they found the perfect formula to capture the essence of Galicia, giving rise to what is today the recipe for the Galician gin Nordés.

Nordés is the first Atlantic Galician Gin, a quality gin with a different flavour that comes to refresh the world of gins as we already know it. Its fresh, aromatic but always balanced character makes it a unique gin, different from other classic gins. Perfect for enjoying the small pleasures of life.

Its characteristic white bottle is inspired by the traditional ceramics of Sargadelos, handcrafted in Galicia, which is distinguished by the uniqueness of its designs and the use of white and blue colours. The name of our gin is a tribute to the NORDÉS wind that in Galicia announces good weather.

Nordés stands out for its alcoholic base that uses Albariño grapes to achieve a soft aroma with notes of fruit and white flowers, making it a pleasant and easy-to-drink gin.

ELABORATION

A distillate made from the Galician white Albariño grape and infused with 11 natural botanicals.

Among these, the presence of 6 wild Galician botanicals stands out - such as sage, lemon verbena, bay leaf, peppermint, eucalyptus, and a marine plant, salicornia, which give the product its particular fresh, aromatic and surprising character. It also includes juniper, cardamom, ginger, hibiscus and Ceylon black tea.

• On the nose: Aromatic gin, with delicate aromas of white fruit, in harmony with balsamic notes of mint, eucalyptus and bay leaf, accompanied by a subtle touch of juniper.

CONSUMPTION RECOMMENDATION In a wide glass with lots of ice, add 5 cl of Nordés, 20 cl of tonic, preferably neutral, and decorate with a skewer of white grapes.
