Citadelle Original Gin

The 19 aromatic plants and botanicals that make up Citadelle are infused, depending on their profile, for between one and four days – a crucial time for Citadelle to acquire its distinguished character. It is then distilled in small copper stills over an open flame to develop its suppleness and voluptuous character on the palate.

Citadelle Gin has delicate aromas of fresh flowers highlighted by stronger citrus notes. Once poured, it emanates more intense herbal notes of juniper and anise; then the spicy side of cinnamon softens the nose, giving an extremely delicious dimension to the gin. On the palate, the juniper gives way to a long, voluptuous and spicy fragrance.

Citadelle offers a complete aromatic richness, but there are three characteristic features that remain:

• Notes of juniper, his signature, the elemental key to Citadelle.
• Citrus notes, the complementary note that makes juniper stand out.
• Exotic notes, offering an additional level of enjoyment with hints of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.
