Single-variety Xarel lo from Espiells. With a beautiful golden colour, deep and complex aromas that surprise. Intense notes of stone fruits (peach, apricot, medlar...) coexist with aromas of brioche and butter. Little by little, as the cava opens up, a faint background of nuts and curry appears, as well as the light touch of toasted notes, typical of long ageing. On the palate it is very creamy, structured and incredibly fresh. Its persistence is notable and leaves us with memories of dried apricots, walnuts and fine pastries.

A cava with a beautiful golden colour that reflects its long years of ageing. Its constant effervescence fills the glass with rosaries of tiny bubbles that, when they reach the surface, form a stable crown.
Its aroma is deep, complex and surprising. Intense notes of stone fruits (peach, apricot, medlar, etc.) coexist with aromas of brioche and butter. Little by little, as the cava opens up, a faint background of nuts and curry appears, as well as the light touch of distinction provided by the toasted aroma typical of great sparkling wines.
In the mouth, its pleasant and persistent effervescence caresses the palate, filling it with pleasant sensations. Extremely unctuous and structured, it is surprisingly fresh given its age. Its persistence is remarkable and leaves us with memories of dried apricots, walnuts and fine pastries.
The La Capella vineyard is a 7.21 hectare plot of Xarel lo planted in 1972 on calcareous soils with a loamy texture, located on the four winds in the highest part of the Espiells property. The grapes are harvested by hand and a meticulous selection and production process is followed. From the cooled free-run must, it is left to decant for 24 hours, then a specific yeast is selected to enhance the revelation of the primary aromas typical of Xarel lo. The bottles have been aged in stacks since May 2006. Juvé & Camps La Capella 2005 is a 12% vol. Gran Reserva Brut Nature cava with great potential and character.
