Muga Selección Especial Reserva is a blend of Tempranillo (70%), Garnacha (20%), Mazuelo (7%) and Graciano (3%) grapes. The grapes come from farms with mostly clayey-calcareous soil located in the La Rioja Alta area, at the foot of the Montes Obarenses.

Due to their geography and orientation, they have a peculiar diversity of different climates between the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Continental, which make the grape have a long and complex maturation.
