Gran Codorníu Chardonnay Reserva is the faithful reflection of a grape, a terroir and a vintage, the best expression of the Chardonnay grape from the oldest vineyards in Codorníu. The fruity notes stand out in this Brut Nature cava. Its magnificent structure has its origin in the fermentation in contact with oak of some of its base wines and in the ageing for more than 15 months.

Warm yellow colour with golden reflections, clean and bright. Fine bubbles form continuous rosaries and a persistent crown over time, indicating good fermentation in the bottle.

Nose
On the nose, soft toasted notes appear, mixed with spring fruits: peaches and cherries, on a base of brioche and dried fruits from the ageing on lees. Very complex, with elegant notes and an aromatic breadth that improves with time in the glass.

Mouth
On the palate it is broad, complex, balanced and creamy. The smoothness of the Chardonnay grape allows this wine to be produced as a Brut Nature, without adding sugars to the expedition liqueur.
