Dehesa de Luna Garnacha Tintorera

Dehesa de Luna Garnacha Tintorera, a sensational red wine for lovers of this ancient drink. Its intense cherry-coloured body contains a wide range of aromas, from ripe red fruit to violets.

Elaboration
The grapes were harvested in the area at the earliest date on record. The grapes ripened at a faster rate than in other years and, therefore, monitoring this process and deciding on the harvest date were key to ensuring the quality of the wine. We harvested by hand in 12kg boxes, and in the winery the grapes were kept at 4ºC for 24 hours before being processed. The sorting table played a fundamental role in eliminating classified grapes that could have distorted the quality of the wine. The fermentation and maceration process lasted 10 days, with maximum fermentation temperatures of 26ºC. One third of the grapes were fermented in vats and the rest in stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation took place in barrels, and once this was finished, the ageing continued for 8 months.

Tasting notes
Deep cherry colour with purple edges. It floods the nose with a wide range of aromas from violets to ripe red fruit, with hints of pastries and dairy products. Tasty and broad in the mouth, polished tannins, long with a touch of salt.
