In the production of its Gran Reservas, Riscal uses grapes from old vines that are over 80 years old, from its own production or from those acquired from established local winegrowers. Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva is undoubtedly one of the great wines of the DO Rioja.

In the production of the Gran Reservas, Riscal uses grapes from old vines that are over 80 years old, from its own production or those acquired from permanent local winegrowers. Once the Gran Reserva wine has been selected after unifying the harvest, it is then put into American oak barrels, where it will remain for between two and a half and three years, plus another three years in the bottle before being sold.
