Raised in freedom and carefully fed throughout all stages of their development, these animals enjoy a diet based on selected cereals, natural pastures, and, during the "montanera" (acorn-feeding season), acorns that they consume exclusively in the dehesas (oak groves). This process contributes to the development of extraordinary fat infiltration rich in oleic acid, responsible for its unctuous texture and unmistakable aromatic profile.

After a long traditional curing process, the ham acquires an elegant, slender shape and a golden-toned exterior fat. Tasting Note

In our 100% Iberian Gold Acorn-fed Ham "Pata Negra" we discover a ruby red hue, delicate marbling, and a high percentage of oleic acid which helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels in the blood, in addition to being rich in protein, vitamin B1, iron, zinc, magnesium, folic acid and vitamin E (an excellent antioxidant).

Visually, this ham shows an elongated, slender figure with a black hoof and a distinctive triangular cut. The surface is adorned by a yellowish, fluid layer of fat, while the inside presents white fat with pink nuances. The lean meat, rich in marbling, shines intensely with a cherry-red color that includes violet tones.

On the nose, we recognize intense and pleasant aromas exclusive to 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham, typical of its character and personality.
