VARIETIES
88% Tempranillo and 12% Graciano, the result of a selection of vines aged between 40 and 60 years old located in Pago El Rincón.

VINEYARD
“Pago El Rincón” - 5.34 hectare plot - located in the southern area of ​​“Viña Lanciano” (El Cortijo - Rioja Alta) next to the “El Rincón” mountain. Altitude of 491 meters with a slight slope. ELABORATION
Manual harvesting in small baskets and subsequent selection by bunch and grain on tables, so that only those grains that are in perfect condition move on to the next phase of production.

Alcoholic fermentation in small truncated cone-shaped tanks to ensure maximum colour extraction. Malolactic fermentation in new, very fine-grained French oak barrels from the Tronçaise and Jupille forests.

BREEDING
Aged in new, fine-grained French oak barrels from the Tronçaise and Allier forests for 26 months. It then spent 20 months in the bottle, refining its aromas and rounding out its palate.

TASTING NOTES
Ripe cherry colour, bright and very covered. Very complex and elegant nose, with notes of red fruit in liqueur, blackberries, along with pastry and balsamic notes. Floral aromas such as violet. Spicy hints of nutmeg and cinnamon, with some smoke. Mineral notes are also appreciated due to the nature of the soil of the “Viña Lanciano” estate. A multitude of sensations explode in the mouth. Very structured, silky, with great body. It leaves us with a pleasant memory for a very long time.
