Varieties: Country Red (Tempranillo) 100%
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Vineyard location: selection of our vineyards in Pedrosa de Duero, Anguix and Roa with an average age of 35 years. Type of soil: clayey-calcareous, stony, very poor fertility and low production.
Yield: 6,000 kg/ha Ageing: 12 months in 300-litre French oak barrels.
Bottling date: January 2019
Production: 400,000 bottles.

ELABORATION
Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 3 days at below 12º C. Inoculation of selected indigenous yeasts. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with pumping over and phenolic control of the must-wine during maceration. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation at low temperature and periodic stirring of lees in the tank.

PAYMENT OF CHAPLAINS CHILDREN'S 17
It is a wine with a deep cherry red colour, offering clean and intense aromas of red and black fruits, with spicy nuances provided by the French oak and a very marked liquorice. In the mouth it is broad, fresh, balanced, silky but with a lot of structure and power, sweet tannins, and a long finish full of aromas and flavours.

CONSERVATION
The wine was bottled without any clarification or stabilisation treatment, so it is possible that over time a natural sediment of colouring matter or tartrates may appear, which is an unequivocal sign of purity and integrity. It will develop positively in the bottle over the next 5 years. Store in a cool (12º - 14º C) and dark place in a horizontal position.
