The company was born in 1964 from the hand of Antonio Cerezo in a small store in Terrassa where the hams that he brought from his hometown (Serón) began to have great success. With the incorporation of José Antonio Roldán in the mid-70s, the reputation that the quality of its products take on becomes greater. Due to the demand of the local traditional trade, the old store is converted into a small wholesale warehouse of 140 m², of regional scope, with a commercial team made up of three people.

In the mid-80s, distribution agreements were signed for leading brands in Iberian products: COVAP (Cooperativa Ganadera del Valle de los Pedroches) and Sánchez Romero Carvajal (Cinco Jotas, 5J). In 1988 the new facilities were inaugurated on the Matadepera road with 1400 m² and the first own Iberian Handicraft store. In the 90s the great expansion of Cerezo begins with an annual growth of approximately 20% throughout the decade. The number of workers exceeds thirty and the range of products is expanded. It is at this time that it begins with the production and sale of Christmas lots and the opening of 2 new stores in Hospitalet and Cornella de Llobregat.

Starting in 2000, exclusive distribution agreements were signed with brands of recognized prestige and solvency: Codorniu, Coqueya cheeses, Jamones de Juviles, Virgin olive oils from the rosary, etc. It is also from this year that exporting activity and participation in international fairs begins. The original warehouse is also expanded by 600 m² more and a new 1,500 m² warehouse is acquired in the Can Petit de Terrassa industrial estate to favor the production of Christmas lots and improve logistics. New stores are opened in Barcelona and Santa Coloma de Gramanet and the staff of Cerezo exceeds 50 workers. In 2007 the company moved to modern facilities of more than 7,500 m² to unify batch manufacturing with distribution. In 2011 the human team exceeds 70 people.
