Marc de Cava Gramona
Josep Lluís Gramona Batlle has the merit of being the first producer of Marc de Cava in the country. The project began in the seventies, using the distillation of pomace and wine from manual uncorking. It is a distillate of the "mothers" from the long aging of our cavas aged with a cork stopper.

The mothers of Cava are the yeasts expelled together with the wine that are recovered after the manual disgorgement of our cavas. From there, a distillation is carried out, carefully separating the heads and tails, recovering only the heart of the distillate, which is the noblest and highest quality part.
Grape pomace distillate
It is obtained by steam distillation of the pomace of the varieties that we use in our winemaking, such as Xarel.lo and Parellada. We use only the heart of the distillate.
