VIÑA LANCIANO The soul of LAN. Viña Lanciano has been, and is, the essence and origin of LAN, and the umbilical cord that links our wines to the land. A vineyard in a meander embraced by the Ebro river, which represents our commitment and pioneering commitment to respect for raw materials with the active practice of sustainable viticulture. In each of its 22 plots, Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano and Garnacha vines are settled, aged between 40 and 60 years.
LAN 7 Metros is a 100% Tempranillo from a selection of plots near our Viña Lanciano farm. The aging takes place in Spanish oak barrels (Quercus pyneraica) for 18 months, with two intermediate racking. Subsequently, it is refined in the bottle for 12 months.
Viticulture and handicraft come together to give rise to this daring wine, which comes from a careful manual selection of strains of very low production located in the Payment El Rincón. A wine ‘handmade’, limited edition, faithful reflection of the homeland from which it comes.
Our most precious jewel comes from an exclusive selection of old strains of poor performance and superb qualities. An exclusive pleasure that only sees the light in exceptional vintages. The culmen of LAN, a wine that expresses our maximum culmination.
Crafted from vines of more than 40 years of age, our LAN Gran Reserva spent 24 months in barrel and a further 36 months in bottle to refine and round off the wine. This is our way of paying homage to the passage of time, patience and expertise. Elegant and subtle, it fully expresses the wisdom bequeathed by time.
